We are delighted to announce this special occasion where the pillars of the Drikung Kagyu lineage will be transmitted by our retreat master Venerable Drupon Rinchen Dorjee and honored guest Khenchen Nyima Gyaltsen.

Originally Nupba Rinpoche had hoped to come teach for this event but unfortunately the conditions did not align and he is unable to come.

H.E. Garchen Rinpoche will give an introductory talk to commence this auspicious gathering. Venerable Drupon Rinchen Dorjee will bestow the empowerment and teachings on the 5 fold path of Mahamudra from August 1 -5.

Khenchen Nyima Gyaltsen will teach on the main treatise called the Gong Chig – The Single Intent by Lord Jigten Sumgon, the founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. We are most fortunate to receive teachings on this all important text by such an accomplished scholar in the lineage from August 1 – 6.

For the second half, Venerable Drupon Rinchen Dorjee will then bestow the Cakrasamvara empowerment and lead us in a drupcho – practice retreat from August 6 -10.

H.E. Garchen Rinpoche will give a short talk at the end of the Cakrasamvara drupcho.

We invite you all to attend in person or online to receive these essential teachings to increase your knowledge through study and deepen your experience through practice to ultimately realize the primordially pure and unborn nature of your mind.

It will be a very powerful combination of study and practice and hope to see you all in person again to receive the blessings of assembling together!

For those attending the entire event they will get priority for on campus accommodation. However it is possible to attend just the first half of the retreat or the second half if you have to make a choice.

Registration will open for partial attendance of either the first half or second half on July 2. Options are August 1 -6 or August 6 -10
