Karma Yoga Application

Karma Yoga is a wonderful opportunity to support the mandala of the retreat. Each retreatant is required to do one hour of service, but karma yogins extend their service and in exchange receive a reduced price for the retreat experience. There are three levels of service:

• 2 total hours of service a day – 15% price reduction
• 4 total hours of service a day – 30% price reduction
• 6 total hours of service a day – 100% price reduction

Karma Yogins who are participating in the 2- or 4-hour a day service please read carefully for additional instructions.  In addition to the Karma Yoga application, register and pay 50% for the event you wish to attend since no seat is reserved. If accepted, a discount code will be in your registration.

If you apply for karma yoga of 4 or 6 hours a day, you may be assigned to work during the hours when revered teachers are teaching or leading a practice in the temple.

There are limited reserved spaces for the Karma Yoga program. Garchen Institute may not be able to find roles for everyone who applies.
